Squawk Squad Kaitiakitanga Week

We won!!!

Each week for Squawk Squad we send in a video of our students completing the activities set for us by Squawk Squad.  Every week they choose winners, who have shown high enthusiasm for their learning and sharing their learning with others.

This week, we sent through our class assembly on Squawk Squad and won a months supply of Pic's Peanut Butter for our class.

How exciting!

Thank you Squawk Squad!

Term 3 Assembly - Akomanga

This term we have been learning te reo with Whaea Lisa focusing on akomanga (classroom). The students learned the kupu of most the items in our akomanga. They used this knowledge to create simple sentence structures - questions and answers.

Where is ____?
Who has ____?

The students showcased their new learning in a fun and interactive assembly.

Students entering the hall dancing to the song - Poi E.

Jodee introducing our assembly.

Wiremu, our kaiako, is searching for his stationary - toa pukapuka.

After Wiremu, our kaiako, exits the room looking for his toa pukapuka, the toa pukapuka enters, sneakily.

The following video tries to capture the whole assembly. Sorry about the movement, this was recorded by a year 4 student.
