Seniors to the Town Pools

Today our two senior classes, Te Puawai and Te Kauru, went to the town pools. This was to provide students an opportunity to experience swimming in a larger pool (since we have a small school pool), and to select the students that would be going through to Zone Swimming.

The students had their normal swimming lesson at the town pools, followed by everyone attempting to swim the whole length of the pool, and finally being able to enjoy a free swim.

And then of course the teachers had to have a race. Who would win, Mr Masters or Mrs Davan???

  1. Kia ora Paparore School. I am a student at Karoro School. My name is Lucy.I live in Greymouth, and in year five. I really think you are good at your swimming. The part that stood out to me was that both our schools have swimming pools, and both go to the local swimming pool for our swimming sports. We have the same chromebooks and case's, which I personally think is pretty cool! This blog reminded me of when I did the swimming sports. It was so much fun! I hope you enjoyed your swimming sports.Well done and great job.
