Te Kauru Camp - Auckland 2018
A huge TE KAURU thank you to all our wonderful kids, parents and staff who made our Auckland Camp such a wonderful trip to remember!
The students displayed our school values everywhere we went and their behavior was outstanding. Many positive comments were received from staff and other visitors at each of the attractions we visited. They were an absolute pleasure!
Our parents ensured the students were well cared for with delicious breakfasts, lunches and dinners and wonderful supervision and encouragement at the marae and each of the attractions. Without such excellent parental support, camps like this would not be possible.
Thank you also to our whanau who stayed at home. We appreciate the fundraising effort that was needed to get the students to camp and the organisation to ensure each student was prepared for the week.
Our camp was a huge success thanks to our great school community.
Nga mihi,
Deb, Ness, Ang and Sharls

Te Kauru, you are an amazing bunch of children and I have thoroughly enjoyed spending time with each of you at camp. You have all shown that our school values are embedded in all we do, whether in school or out. It is a pleasure to call you "my kids." I look forward to making many more memories with you this year and I'm sure Whaea Deb feels the same. Thank you for being so awesome. - Mrs Davan -
ReplyDeleteTena Koe Te Kauru.
ReplyDeleteMy class is so jealous right now. I showed them your blog site. As we looked through the photos, I wish I could show you their faces. "Oh what, they went to Rainbows End! Why can't we go there?" It looked like you had a lot of fun. Funnily I was just there with my children for their birthdays.
It is definitely a big event to organise, but a fantastic way to celebrate all your successes for the year. My class is currently looking through your blog posts. Each given specific people to comment on. Apologies if people are missed.
Nga mihi
